The Anxiety & Habit Change programme is designed for adults who feel stuck in unhelpful habits that are closely linked to anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm.
This may include patterns such as alcohol use, emotional eating, compulsive behaviours, or other coping habits that temporarily reduce anxiety but create longer-term difficulties. Rather than focusing only on the habit itself, this programme works on understanding and changing the anxiety-driven patterns underneath.
This structured 6-session programme begins with an initial assessment session, followed by five focused therapy sessions. Together, we explore what the habit is doing for you, what triggers it, and how anxiety, thoughts, and behaviours interact to keep the cycle going.
Using an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) approach, sessions combine cognitive and behavioural techniques with hypnotherapy as a supportive tool. The focus is on reducing reliance on unhelpful coping strategies, increasing choice and control, and building healthier ways to manage anxiety and emotions.
Where helpful, short MP3 recordings created during sessions are provided, allowing you to practise new responses and reinforce the work between appointments.
This programme is suitable if you want to change a habit gently and sustainably, without judgement or pressure.
