Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is a short-term, goal-focused approach.
Many people notice meaningful change within 4–6 sessions, although this varies. We review progress regularly and adjust as needed — there’s no fixed commitment.
If you prefer a clearer structure or are working towards a specific goal, the programmes below may be helpful.
Structured Therapy Programmes
Clear, structured support to help you understand anxiety and move forward with confidence.
The Social & Workplace Anxiety programme is designed for adults who feel anxious, self-conscious, or under pressure around other people — at work, socially, or in performance situations.
This structured 6-session programme begins with an initial assessment session, followed by five focused therapy sessions. Together, we work on understanding how anxiety shows up in social and work settings, and how avoidance, overthinking, or self-criticism can keep it going.
Using an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) approach, sessions combine cognitive and behavioural techniques with hypnotherapy as a supportive tool. The focus is on reducing avoidance, responding differently to anxious thoughts and physical symptoms, and building confidence in real-world situations that currently feel difficult.
Where helpful, short MP3 recordings created during sessions are provided, allowing you to practise at home and reinforce the work between appointments.
This programme is suitable if anxiety is affecting your confidence at work, in meetings or presentations, socially, or in situations where you feel judged or under pressure.
The Teen Confidence & School Anxiety programme is designed for teenagers who are struggling with anxiety, low confidence, school-related worries, or emotional overwhelm.
This structured 6-session programme begins with an initial assessment session, followed by five focused therapy sessions. The work helps teenagers understand how anxiety affects their thoughts, feelings, and behaviour, and builds practical skills to help them feel more confident and capable in everyday life.
Using an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) approach, sessions combine cognitive and behavioural techniques with hypnotherapy as a supportive tool. The focus is on reducing avoidance, managing anxious thoughts and emotions, and building confidence in situations such as school, friendships, and social settings.
Where helpful, short MP3 recordings created during sessions are provided, allowing teenagers to practise calming and confidence-building techniques between sessions.
Sessions are age-appropriate, supportive, and collaborative, with parents involved where helpful and agreed, while still giving teenagers space to develop independence and confidence.
This programme is suitable if anxiety is affecting school attendance, friendships, self-esteem, or emotional wellbeing.
The Calm & Capable programme is designed for adults who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, stress, or emotional overwhelm.
This is a structured 6-session programme, beginning with an initial assessment session, followed by five focused therapy sessions. Together, these sessions are designed to help you understand what’s driving your anxiety and change the patterns that keep it going.
Rather than offering quick fixes, the work focuses on building practical skills so you feel calmer, more confident, and more in control in everyday life.
Using an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) approach, sessions combine cognitive and behavioural techniques with hypnotherapy as a supportive tool. We work on reducing avoidance, responding differently to anxious thoughts and feelings, and building confidence in situations that currently feel difficult.
Where helpful, short MP3 recordings created during sessions are provided, allowing you to listen at home and reinforce the work between appointments.
The Fear & Phobia Reset programme is designed for people experiencing intense anxiety or fear responses that feel hard to control or avoid — such as emetophobia, fear of flying, health anxiety, or panic-based fears.
This is a focused programme that works on understanding how fear responses develop and why anxiety can escalate so quickly in certain situations. Rather than trying to eliminate fear altogether, the work helps you change how your mind and body respond, so fear becomes more manageable and less overwhelming.
Using an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) approach, sessions combine cognitive and behavioural techniques with hypnotherapy as a supportive tool. We work on reducing avoidance, building tolerance to anxiety sensations, and developing safer, calmer responses to previously triggering situations.
Where helpful, short MP3 recordings created during sessions are provided, allowing you to practise between appointments and reinforce progress at home.
This programme is suitable if fear or phobic anxiety is limiting your daily life, travel, health, or sense of freedom.
The Anxiety & Habit Change programme is designed for adults who feel stuck in unhelpful habits that are closely linked to anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm.
This may include patterns such as alcohol use, emotional eating, compulsive behaviours, or other coping habits that temporarily reduce anxiety but create longer-term difficulties. Rather than focusing only on the habit itself, this programme works on understanding and changing the anxiety-driven patterns underneath.
This structured 6-session programme begins with an initial assessment session, followed by five focused therapy sessions. Together, we explore what the habit is doing for you, what triggers it, and how anxiety, thoughts, and behaviours interact to keep the cycle going.
Using an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) approach, sessions combine cognitive and behavioural techniques with hypnotherapy as a supportive tool. The focus is on reducing reliance on unhelpful coping strategies, increasing choice and control, and building healthier ways to manage anxiety and emotions.
Where helpful, short MP3 recordings created during sessions are provided, allowing you to practise new responses and reinforce the work between appointments.
This programme is suitable if you want to change a habit gently and sustainably, without judgement or pressure.
The Relax & Reset session is a one-off hypnotherapy session designed to help you slow down, switch off, and give your mind and body a break from constant tension or stress.
This session is not therapy in the traditional sense and does not involve exploring problems in depth. Instead, it focuses on guided relaxation and gentle hypnosis to help calm the nervous system, release built-up tension, and restore a sense of balance and ease.
It can be particularly helpful if you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, struggling to switch off, or simply in need of some protected downtime.
Using evidence-based hypnotherapy techniques, the session helps you settle into a deeply relaxed state while remaining fully aware and in control throughout.
Where helpful, a short MP3 recording from the session may be provided so you can revisit the relaxation at home.
