The Teen Confidence & School Anxiety programme is designed for teenagers who are struggling with anxiety, low confidence, school-related worries, or emotional overwhelm.
This structured 6-session programme begins with an initial assessment session, followed by five focused therapy sessions. The work helps teenagers understand how anxiety affects their thoughts, feelings, and behaviour, and builds practical skills to help them feel more confident and capable in everyday life.
Using an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) approach, sessions combine cognitive and behavioural techniques with hypnotherapy as a supportive tool. The focus is on reducing avoidance, managing anxious thoughts and emotions, and building confidence in situations such as school, friendships, and social settings.
Where helpful, short MP3 recordings created during sessions are provided, allowing teenagers to practise calming and confidence-building techniques between sessions.
Sessions are age-appropriate, supportive, and collaborative, with parents involved where helpful and agreed, while still giving teenagers space to develop independence and confidence.
This programme is suitable if anxiety is affecting school attendance, friendships, self-esteem, or emotional wellbeing.
