The Children’s Anxiety & Emotional Confidence programme is designed for children who are experiencing anxiety, worries, or emotional difficulties that are starting to affect everyday life.
This may show up as worries about school, difficulty separating from parents, sleep problems, frequent reassurance-seeking, emotional outbursts, or avoiding situations that feel overwhelming.
This is a structured 4–6 session programme, beginning with an initial assessment session, followed by focused therapy sessions tailored to your child’s age and needs. The work helps children understand anxiety in a safe, age-appropriate way and develop skills to feel calmer, more confident, and more secure.
Using an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) approach, sessions combine practical CBT-based tools with gentle hypnotherapy techniques. The focus is on helping children feel safer in their bodies, understand their worries, and respond differently when anxiety shows up.
Where helpful, short MP3 recordings created during sessions are provided so children can practise calming skills at home, with parental support.
Parents are involved at key points to help reinforce progress and support confidence outside of sessions.
